Where did you come from?

My mother? The mailman? (Norwich CT. My mother was from Maine, so we moved back here when I was 2.)

How did you get here?

My wife, Pam, bought me a home brew kit for Christmas in 1989. Thats how it all started. After the second batch of beer i ever brewed, I said, “I’m opening a brewery.”

What do you do at Bigelow?

See title. Whatever needs to be done.

What do you do when you’re not at Bigelow?

If I’m not at Bigelow, I’m working my other full time job… I used to ski, bike, kayak, all of that when we had free time. I also love to cook.

Favorite style of beer?

My favorite style is one that’s hand crafted. One that tastes like another.

Favorite Bigelow Beer?

Dementia dog.

Favorite non-Bigelow Beer?

Russian River’s Pliny the Elder.
