Bigelow Brewing Company believes that beer should be about a place. We make beer for our community, from our community. We strive to use all local ingredients from local providers, in harmony with our patrons’ pride and sense of ownership of where we live. We are deeply committed to brewing beer from products grown in Maine, resulting in beers whose unique flavors can be replicated nowhere else. Our hope is that this commitment will not only strengthen our local economy, but that our beer’s unique character will draw customers to seek us out.

Who We Are

Founded in 2013, Bigelow Brewing Company is an equal partnership with Jeff as brewmaster, Pam as the visionary, and together, taking care of everything in between. Our brewery filled a void in Somerset County for a community-focused, friendly, and accessible craft brewery dedicated to locally sourced products and superior quality. We believe that success begins at home. Bigelow beer is brewed with pride in Maine from products grown right here in Maine and the desire to support our community doesn’t stop there. From the landscaping materials, wood fired pizza oven, our signature, locally sourced spent grain pizza dough and locally sourced ingredients, we strive to support Maine businesses whenever possible. Though brewing started as a hobby for Jeff, Bigelow has blossomed and flourished over the last seven years to become both a warm gathering place, and a successful craft brewery distributing to over 700 locations across the state of Maine.
